SIR SANFORD FLEMING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

As part of an award-winning Seismic Mitigation Program aimed at seismically upgrading or replacing 214 high-risk schools in British Columbia, Sir Sanford Fleming Elementary is both a school and Neighbourhood Learning Centre. Located in Vancouver, Sir Sanford Fleming Elementary will accommodate a maximum of 440 students, including 40 kindergarten and 400 students in grades 1-7. The state-of-the-art building includes a 69-space child-care center catering to children up to four years old, situated on the third floor.
