This new K-8 school complex in Chilliwack, BC, overlooks the Vedder River and is designed to create a collaborative learning environment that integrates with the natural surroundings. The two-storey building accommodates up to 930 students and features a Neighborhood Learning Centre, two gymnasiums, and flexible landscaped spaces. Classrooms on two levels are oriented towards the river, maximizing daylight exposure and views. The project incorporates sustainable design initiatives, including the use of timber, and aims to create a stimulating and connected learning environment from site design to student experience.
